Australia
Professor Gill Harvey is a Matthew Flinders Fellow and Professor of Health Services and Implementation Research in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Flinders University. She leads the ‘Better Systems’ theme in the Caring Futures Institute and is an Adjunct Professor of Implementation Science at Queensland University of Technology. She is also an Affiliated Researcher at Dalarna University in Sweden.
Professor Alison Kitson is the inaugural Vice President and Executive Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Flinders University, South Australia. Alison was the Foundation Director of the Caring Futures Institute, in which she is currently the Lead of the Knowledge Translation Enabling Theme.
Brazil
Dr. Andrea Bernardes is an Associate Professor at Ribeirão Preto College of Nursing at University of São Paulo (EERP-USP) and Adjunct Professor at the University of Alberta, Canada. Professor Bernardes has experience in the field of Nursing, with an emphasis on Nursing Leadership and Management. She is the leader of the LIGGEN Research Group, a researcher with CLEAR Outcomes, and the coordinator of the MBA program in Health Management and Graduate Program in Fundamental Nursing at the University of São Paulo.
Dr. Carmen Silvia Gabriel is currently a professor in the Department of General and Specialized Nursing at the University of São Paulo. Having earned an undergraduate and graduate degree in Nursing and a Ph.D. in Hospital Administration at the same university, Dr. Gabriel has experience in such areas as Hospital Administration, Management, Nursing Services, Health Certification Programs and Audit in the hospital. She is responsible for undergraduate and graduate courses related to management of Health and Nursing Services in hospitals at the University of São Paulo, and is the acting technical certifier for the Ministry of Health in the "Brazilian Interminsterial Program of Certification for Teaching Hospitals."
Manitoba, Canada
Malcolm Doupe is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Community Health Sciences and Emergency Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba. Dr. Doupe is a health services researcher and holds multiple national and international grants designed to evaluate older adult health care transitions. He is also the Director of the Manitoba Training Program, a partnership program between the University of Manitoba and Manitoba Health designed to train graduate students in health services research. He leads multiple international student training and network grants designed to improve care transitions for older people.
Netherlands
Dr. Pieterbas Lalleman is a Professor of Leadership at the research group for the Person-centredness in an Ageing Society at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. He is the chair of the Historical Nursing College archives and museum at the Dutch Nurses Association. He works as a community nurse at Buurtzorg. He is a member of the supervisory board of trustees at Elver in Nieuw Wehl and the shared chair at Amstelring in Amsterdam. As a visiting adjunct professor, he is involved in various projects related to nursing leadership and skill mix, including those initiated by Dr. Cummings through the University of Alberta.
Norway
Professor Frode Jacobsen works as a professor and Research Director at the Centre for Care Research in Western Norway. He is a professor at VID Specialized University. For the past decade and more, Professor Jacobsen has primarily been researching in the area of older people's care, both nationally and internationally. Besides the CLEAR Outcomes research team, he collaborates with groups in the USA, Great Britain, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.
United Kingdom
Professor Andrew Booth is Professor in Evidence Synthesis at the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR), University of Sheffield, UK. He is a systematic review methodologist and co-Convenor of the Cochrane Qualitative and Implementation Methods Group. Over the last five years he has been one of the most prolific international authors in qualitative and realist synthesis methodologies.
Tony Ryan is Professor of Older People, Care and the Family in the Health Sciences School at the University of Sheffield and has worked in the field of ageing and healthcare for over 20 years. He is currently Head of Division for Nursing & Midwifery having also held the post of Director Research with responsibility for leading the Department’s strategy, capacity development, research and innovation and impact from 2015 to 2020.
