Forms and Hand Books

Resources include: information on policies and procedures, forms for program administration, committees and exams, graduate assistantships and awards.

Ethics and Professional Development Requirements

A comprehensive listing of Graduate Ethics training students registered in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation can complete to meet the university's mandatory eight hours of requirement. Information on the mandatory eight hours of professional development activities and Individual Development Plan (IDP) for students admitted September 2016 and onwards is also included.

Program Planning and Registration

Information on how to register in thesis credits and coursework.

Directed Studies

A Directed Studies course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to work closely with members of academic staff on projects that are closely aligned with students' area of interest.

Leaves of Absences

Students are eligible for a leave of absence up to one year for maternity/parental, medical or compassionate grounds.

Program Extensions

There are two types of Program Extensions for graduate students: Extension to time in program and extension to doctoral program requirements.

Orientation

Each year the faculty hosts a one-day orientation for new graduate students.

KSRGSS

Official graduate student group for the Faculty-Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation Graduate Student Society.
