The Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation is proud to congratulate the 30 Faculty student athletes for their excellence in both their academic and athletic endeavors. These student athletes were recognized Wednesday morning at the annual Golden Bears and Pandas Academic All-Canadian breakfast in Lister Hall. A total of 12 different faculties had academic all-Canadian winners, with an institutional high coming from the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation.
Students receive academic all-Canadian status by maintaining an average of 80% or better over the academic year while competing full-time for one or more University of Alberta varsity teams.
