Eligibility
- Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences
- Nominee's area of research is the Arctic, specifically north of the 60th parallel
- Nominee must be of excellent academic standing
- If no suitable nominee is available in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, this scholarship may be given to a nominee registered in a graduate degree program in the Department of Renewable Resources
- If offered to a nominee in the Department of Renewable Resources, that nominee must be conducting research in the Arctic, specifically north of the 60th parallel
- Open to Canadian citizens.
- Open to permanent residents.
- Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
- Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
- Open to applicants in masters programs.
- Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
- Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.
How to apply
By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
