Eligibility

  • Satisfactory academic standing
  • Recipients must be registered in Computing Science, Mathematics or Economics
  • Preference given to students who do not hold another award or scholarship valued at $15000 or greater during the tenure of this award
  • Selection based academic achievement
  • Awarded to students who identify as a woman
  • The nominating department will rotate on an annual basis. Year 1: Department of Computing Science Year 2: Department of Math and Statistical Sciences Year 3: Department of Economics Year 4: Repeat
  • Open to Canadian citizens
  • Open to permanent residents
  • Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits
  • Open to applicants in course-based study programs
  • Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs
  • Open to applicants in doctoral programs
  • Open to applicants in masters programs
  • Open to full time and part time students


How to apply

By nomination only. Department selects nomination (i.e there is no application form). Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
