Frank Peers Graduate Research Scholarship
Eligibility
- Department of History and Classics or Department of Political Science
- Selected on the basis of excellent academic standing
- Selected on the basis of research potential
- The scholarship is intended to provide assistance for the nominee's research program
- The value of the scholarship is variable; each department may choose to nominate one nominee at full value, or two nominees at half value, providing that the half value is no less than $3,450
- In nominating a nominee for this scholarship, the departments may take financial need into consideration
- Open to Canadian citizens.
- Open to permanent residents.
- Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
- Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
- Open to applicants in masters programs.
- Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
- Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.
How to apply
By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
