Wedged-Open Fire Doors
Wedged-open fire doors are a common-but-easily-avoided hazard. Openings in fire separations allow fire to spread more quickly through a building, increasing the risk of injury and property damage.
Every door labelled as a fire door must be kept closed at all times and should never be wedged open. If you see a fire door wedged open, please close it and take steps to inform all space users that it must stay closed. Make your space a wedgie-free zone!
