How to Register
Current Students
Students in the MHSE Program or other graduate programs at the University of Alberta can contact us at medhse@ualberta.ca to be enrolled.
Open Studies
Students who are not in a program at the U of A must apply to Open Studies by August 25, 2024. Here's how:
When you click the yellow Apply Now button below, you will be redirected to the Apply for Undergraduate Admission page (for the purposes of registration, all open studies courses are listed as 'undergraduate', even graduate-level courses).
- You will be directed to create an Apply Alberta account if you are logging in for the first time (follow the instructions on that page).
- Once you have created an account, you'll go back to the U of A page. Log in and click 'Start a New Application'. A pop-up box will ask you to select the time period for your studies. Scroll down and choose 'Fall 2024' and '2024/2025 Undergraduate Programs'.
- Follow the steps to complete all of the required information.
- Finalize your application and pay the fee.
In a few days, you'll receive an email with your student ID and other information. Once that happens, contact us at medhse@ualberta.ca and we'll enroll you in your chosen course(s).
Remember: you must take a course in the term for which you apply, so be sure to choose carefully.
