Applause for Teachers Contest
The Faculty of Education recognizes educators have experienced layers of challenges over the past two years. Adapting to online learning, changes in in-person classrooms and all the hurdles of the pandemic brought out creativity, resilience and reinforced the commitment to students. We applaud you!

Resources for Teachers
The Strengths Hope and Resourcefulness Program for School Mental Health (SHARP-SMH) helps build up students and teachers by bringing hope into the classroom. Using positive psychology and focusing on strengths, our team of researchers, teachers, and students has developed activities that teach and grow hope. On this website, you’ll find lessons and activities for a variety of grades to bring positivity into your classroom that you can easily incorporate into your lesson plan.
As educators, you work hard to maintain the currency of your professional practice. We offer a variety of streams to continue your learning credentials, including certificates in school leadership, and teaching students with complex communications needs.
