Information for New and Prospective Students

The best way to experience what we have to offer is to visit one of our campuses. Through the Campus Tours program, UAlberta Ambassadors (current U of A students) can provide you with a campus tour and the inside scoop on what it's like to be a student here. You can also check out our first-year residence and connect with an Academic Advisor, including an Indigenous Student Recruitment Coordinator.

Once you have been accepted, complete the following steps:

• Apply for Housing
  If you are thinking about living on campus, the U of A has a variety of housing options available. Residence is a popular option - spaces can fill quickly! We also have designated housing currently enrolled full-time FNMI students.
• Register for Orientation 
  Orientation is your free introduction to campus and your respective Faculty based on a student perspective. Meet new friends, have fun and learn your way around campus. Learn more about First Peoples' House Orientation.
