Summer Accommodation
Dormitory style accommodations are available May through August (opening day subject to student move-out). Check-in is after 4:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am.
Traditional
Our dormitory-style accommodation, in single or twin occupancy, provides casual comfort at affordable rates. We are pleased to include the following complimentary services:
- High-speed internet access (Wi-Fi)
- Linen & towel service
- Refrigerator & sink (in shared kitchen)
Each floor has a lounge area designed to create an atmosphere that encourages interaction with other guests while still offering you the option of retreating to your own room to prepare for the next day’s activities. Laundry machines are available.

If you would like to adjust or cancel your reservation, we require 48 hours notice prior to your date of arrival. Reservations cancelled within 48 hours of arrival are subject to a fee (first night's stay including applicable taxes).
Cancellations can be made by contacting us by phone at 780-492-6056 or by emailing guest.services@ualberta.ca. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard & American Express.
Please note: you will be required to present your credit card and government issued photo ID at check-in. All minors must be accompanied at all times by a chaperone 18 years of age or older.
Schäffer Hall
Schäffer Hall offers fantastic value with bright, comfortable single rooms with private washrooms. Each room features windows that open and black-out blinds and a work desk for your convenience.We are pleased to include the following complimentary services:

Schäffer Hall also offers common areas featuring lounges with comfortable seating, kitchens, and laundry machines.

During the summer months (May through August), for groups staying in residence rooms at the Conference Centre, we offer a meal program with a variety of options available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Please contact our Guest Services department for more information.
