Biography:
Dr Beaulieu is a professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and is the current Scientific Director of the MR Research Centre.

Current Research:
Dr Beaulieu's research focuses on the development and application of Diffusion MRI methods that can be applied to the study of stroke. In addition he has been one of the prime innovators in the development of 23-Sodium MR imaging techniques.

Student Opportunities:
There are opportunities for both MSc and PhD student positions in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. In addition Dr Beaulieu currently co-supervises students from a number of other departments, including Neurology, Psychiatry, and the Centre for Neuroscience.
