School Visits

We would love to visit you and give a short presentation which highlights the range, nature and career trajectories of our undergraduate programs. Please let me know if you would like us to visit your senior level art/design classes. We also welcome school tours to our facilities.

U of A Open House: Saturday Oct. 15th, 9am - 3pm

Here's a great chance for prospective students and their families to come and visit us:

• Art & Design info booth in the Butterdome at the UofA Open House.
• Art & Design presentations and tours of the studios are available in the Fine Arts Building. Current students and instructors will be available in studios to talk to prospective students and parents, and we have arranged for displays of work throughout the Fine Arts Building.

Portfolio Feedback Day

Each year in late January or early February we offer an opportunity for prospective students to get some feedback on their portfolios. For truly outstanding portfolios, we also offer conditional acceptances which would mean the student does not have to submit a portfolio in May; their admission is contingent only meeting the academic admission requirements. I will send more information about this to Edmonton area teachers each Fall. Please see the Portfolio Review Day page for more information.
