Call for Abstracts
The International Diabetes Federation will be hosting the 2015 World Diabetes Conference at the Vancouver Convention Centre, Vancouver, BC, Canada from November 30 to December 4, 2015.
The World Diabetes Congress welcomes original abstracts on subjects relevant to the following six streams:
- Basic and Clinical Science
- Diabetes in Indigenous Peoples
- Education and Integrated Care
- Global Challenges in Health
- Living with Diabetes
- Public Health and Epidemiology

ADI Member Advantages
The Alberta Diabetes Institute would like to support a strong presence at the IDF World Congress, the world's largest global diabetes meeting. Our PI's and their trainees are encouraged to attend.
Travel Expense Funding
The Alberta Diabetes Institute will contribute funds toward travel expenses for up to 20 of our student trainees to attend the World Diabetes Congress (supervisor must be an ADI member). Upon receipt of approved abstract(s) and confirmed attendance, $250 will be provided towards travel expenses for the first 20 applicants (to hold your spot please send a copy of your submitted abstract to cruptash@ualberta.ca).
