Application Guide
Consulting with ATEP first, may expedite the admissions review and/or process and helps avoid unnecessary delays.
Review the admission requirements for the program you are applying for.
These can be found on the Admission Requirements section of the ATEP website.
Click on the yellow "Apply Now" button at the top. Your application is not submitted until the application fee has been paid.
The University of Alberta uses Launchpad, an online platform that will allow you to check your application status, upload documents, and more. We are not able to accept any paper applications.
Tip: The Undergraduate Admissions & Programs website has wonderful videos to walk you through the application process, including creating your ApplyAlberta and Launchpad accounts.
Receive your UAlberta student ID number and Campus Computing ID.
You should receive an email with your UAlberta student ID number and your Campus Computing ID (CCID) within two business days of submitting your application. Your CCID allows you to access many services, including your UAlberta email account.
All communications will be sent to your UAlberta email account, so activate it as soon as possible and check it frequently.
Submit all required documents through Launchpad before the document deadline.
Once your application has been submitted, a personalized checklist of outstanding items will be posted in your Launchpad account. Additional information about these documents can be found on the Required Documents section of the ATEP website.
Note: To log in to Launchpad, you will need to use the same email address and password you used to create your application. This is not your UAlberta email.
You can upload unofficial copies of your transcripts for your application evaluation. If an offer of admission is extended, you must supply official transcripts to the Registrar’s Office by the applicable document deadline. Official and complete documents should be submitted to:

Admission offers must be accepted in Launchpad. Undergraduate students new to the university must submit a non-refundable tuition deposit to confirm their admission. The tuition deposit will be applied toward your total tuition cost. You cannot be registered in your courses until the tuition deposit has been paid. See Student Tuition Payment Options.
More information about the tuition deposit and payment options can be found on the Financial Services site. If you are funded by a third party, such as your band, you may request that your tuition deposit be waived by submitting a request through the Student Service Portal.
