Vice President of Advancement Leaving

After five years as the Vice President of Student Services and, more recently, Vice President of Advancement, Mark Ferne is leaving SJC in September. Stay tuned to SJC's website and social media in the coming days for news about an opening in the Advancement Office to fill his shoes!

Under Mark's leadership, the Advancement Office implemented a number of new events and programs including the Advent SJC Alumni & Friends event, Spring Fundraising Breakfast, Student Award Winner/Donor breakfast, SJC's Got Talent, and city-based alumni meet-up happy hours. When many charities saw significant decreases, SJC had substantial fundraising numbers through the last several years. Mark's 20+ years of senior-level leadership experience were helpful at countless meetings and we wish him great success in the future.
