From your COVID-19 booster to vaccinations for travelling, all of our pharmacists are authorized to administer immunizations.

Minor Ailment Assessments and Prescriptions

Our pharmacists are able to assess and prescribe treatment for certain minor medical conditions. We can also renew ongoing prescriptions (some exceptions apply), and transfer most prescriptions from any pharmacy in Canada.

Tobacco Cessation

All of our pharmacists are Certified Tobacco Educators meaning we are trained to provide advice, recommendations and prescriptions for any medication to help you quit smoking.

Rapid Testing for Strep Throat

We offer rapid point of care testing for strep throat to determine if the cause of your sore throat is a bacterial infection. Our testing solution is simple and reliable with results available in under 10 minutes.

Our pharmacists are able to prescribe a suitable antibiotic if your test is positive so that you can be on your way to feeling better faster. Fees apply.

Naloxone Kits

The Naloxone Kits are available at the University Health Centre Pharmacy.

Medication Review

Have questions about your prescriptions? One of our pharmacists will review your medications to ensure they are providing you with maximum benefit and that you are achieving treatment goals.

Medication Injection

Our team can administer most types of injections including immunizations, allergy serum, hormones, vitamins and birth control. There may be a fee for this service but some services are covered by Alberta Health Care.
