Student Service Centre Winter Closure

The Student Service Centre (SSC) will be closed as of Dec. 24, 2024 and will reopen on Jan. 2, 2025. Access our services as usual until Dec. 23, with the Student Service Portal available until 4 p.m. On Dec. 24, the SSC will be closed to in-person services. Contact us by live chat or join the phone queue until 12 p.m. We will reopen all channels as of Jan. 2, 2025.

The Student Service Centre is here to help you make the most of your university journey. We provide information and access to services to support your academic, financial, mental, and physical well-being. If we can’t answer your questions, we’ll connect you with someone who can.

The Student Service Centre supports prospective students and current undergraduate, graduate and continuing education students at the University of Alberta. If you have a question about transcripts, course registration, updating your application, financial support and more, look below for the service option that works best for you. As volume of inquiries can vary day-to-day, our availability for in-person and phone services may change. For the most accurate information, we encourage you to confirm our availability and wait times by joining the in-person service queue or the phone queue.

Have a question? Utilize the Portal to submit a Student General Inquiry — it's even better than email! Your inquiry will be directed to the right staff member and you can access articles, called “solutions,” that can answer some of our most frequently asked questions.

If you have applied for admission or are a current student, log in seamlessly with your CCID. This will help us verify your identity.

In-person advising is available at the Student Service Centre in the Administration Building on North Campus.

If you plan on visiting the Student Service Centre in person, get in line virtually.

Submit forms that require the Office of the Registrar to complete a section.

Continuing Education

 

Having trouble with online registration? Do you need assistance in resetting your password or accessing Bear Tracks? Need a copy of your University of Alberta transcript?

The Student Service Centre can support Continuing Education students through any of our service options. Reach out by submitting an inquiry through the Student Service Portal, joining the Phone Queue or visiting us on North Campus.

Contact the Continuing Education program office if you have questions about program completion, course inquiries (including late registrations, course prerequisite questions and grades) or other program-related inquiries.
