Congratulations to MA student, Farid Saberi, whose essay "Marx’s Conception of Nihilism: Species Being, Alienation and Essentialism" was awarded the 2023 Anna Kessler Memorial Graduate Essay Prize in Philosophy.
The Anna Kessler Memorial Graduate Essay Prize in Philosophy is awarded each year to the best graduate student essay based on work undertaken during their time in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Alberta. (All philosophy graduate students, including visiting and exchange students, are eligible to enter this competition. )
