Autoclave Repair Core

Facility Overview

The Autoclave Repair Core was established in 2013 to provide FoMD with on-site repair and maintenance services for autoclaves and laboratory washers. The Core is also responsible, in collaboration with Health, Safety and Environment, for temperature probe calibrations of autoclaves located in FoMD enhanced biocontainment facilities.

Researchers, departments, centres and institutes can utilize the Autoclave Repair Core on a fee for service basis. The Core offers repair services as well as service contracts, which include regular preventive maintenance checks.

Hours of Operation:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Fees:

$100/hour for repairs, plus the cost of parts.
