Submitting of applications for scholarships for study and research in Slovakia during summer semester of the academic year 2013/2014 within the National Scholarship Programme to support mobility
National Scholarship Programme to support the mobility of students, PhD students, university teachers and researchers is funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic.
Scholarships are intended for:
a) students of foreign universities related to the study at a Slovak university for a period of one to two semesters during their Masters study;
b) PhD students of foreign universities/research organisations at a university or research organisation eligible to carry out PhD study programme in Slovak Republic for a period of 1-12 months during their PhD studies;
c) university teachers, researchers or artists from foreign universities/research organisations at a university in connection with the lecture, research or artistic stay at the university/research organisation eligible to carry out PhD study programme or NGO in the Slovak Republic, for a period of 1-12 months
Important:
Individuals with permanent residence in the Slovak Republic and citizens of the Slovak Republic studying or working at the universities or research organisations abroad cannot apply for the Programme scholarship for foreign applicants.
The amount of the scholarship:
a) university student of second level of higher education - 350, - EUR
b) PhD student - 580, - EUR
c) university teacher, researcher or artist:
- without PhD degree and less than 4 years of work experience - 580, - EUR
- with PhD degree and less than 10 years of work experience - 850, - EUR
- with PhD degree and more than 10 years of work experience - 1000, - EUR
Applicants shall apply online at www.scholarships.sk. System opens not later than 6 weeks before the deadline. After submitting on-line application with all attachments, applicant shall deliver original hard copy of Host Institution Invitation Letter to SAIA Bratislava before the deadline. Deadline for submitting application related to the summer semester of the academic year 2013/2014 is October 31st 2013 at 04:00 pm (CET). Next deadline for application forms for the scholarships related to the academic year 2014/2015 is April 30th 2014at 04:00 pm (CET).
