University Endowment Pool Disclosure

As part of our commitment to responsible investment, the University of Alberta is disclosing the investment holdings of the University Endowment Pool (UEP) every year.

The endowment pool consists of the university’s endowed trust funds and other funds of a permanent or long-term nature.

The University Endowment Pool includes contributions from donors. Endowments do not include tuition or public funds. The earnings from these investments support students, university research and innovation, scholarships, and offsets some operational costs.

Additional investments are managed by third parties through agreements which do not allow public disclosure of their investments. The assets are grouped by type and strategy with market values included in the listing. All investment manager relationships are detailed in the UEP and NEIP External Investment Relationships report.
