The SJC Spring Breakfast Celebration Event is our major fundraising event of the year and celebrates all that is SJC.

At the breakfast we report on our accomplishments and progress in our strategic areas of priority Community, Learning and Legacy, and we celebrate our mission in action with the attendance and participation of students as ambassadors, award winners and program participants. And if that is not good news enough, we also have both pre- and post-event receptions, gathering our community for sharing, fellowship, and reflection.

 Saturday, April 26, 2025:  8:30 AM to 12 Noon

The University Club, 11435 Saskatchewan Drive, University of Alberta

8:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Pre-Event Reception, Gathering & Sharing in Community 

9:15 AM to 11:15 AM: Breakfast and Program 

11:15 AM - 12 Noon: Post-Event Reception, Fellowship & Reflection

Your support through the purchase of a $150 Ticket includes a breakfast buffet as well as a $100 charitable tax receipt.  Your donation will go directly to support the SJC 2025 President’s Scholarship Award (value of $7,500) celebrating students who wish to embody all aspects of the St. Joseph's College experience through academic formation at SJC, living in our community, and serving others.

Total seated breakfast attendance is limited to 150 community members, supporters, faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends.

Be a Sponsor

If you decide to become a sponsor, you will receive a customized suite of benefits at your chosen level of sponsorship (Community, Learning, Legacy, Table, Friend of SJC), with your support helping us to continue to engage with our community through events such as this.

Sponsorship Packages are available at multiple levels with customized benefits packages. If you are interested please print the Sponsorship Commitment Form  and submit it with payment by Cheque or Credit Card.

Make a Donation

If you are not able to join us due to commitment or distance, we would welcome your support through a donation to help in the support and enrichment of the education of our students. Your support will be directed to Area of Greatest NeedMake a Donation

 As the Catholic College at the University of Alberta, we look to our community to support our work. SJC supports students in their development as whole people by offering over 70 university credit courses annually, with student enrolment of 3000+. We house over 300 men and women in our two residences, and have daily mass in addition to advising one of the largest student organizations at the University of Alberta, the Catholic Students’ Association.

We look forward to welcoming our community of supports, alumni, students, faculty and staff at this year’s breakfast and sharing with you or successes of the year and plans for the future.
