Are you thinking about contributing to our profession by learning to do research? If so, keep in mind that the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta has launched a scholarship to partially support incoming MSc Rehabilitation Medicine students, PhD students and post-doctoral fellows for full-time studies.
To qualify for the scholarship, you must have a BScPT, MScPT, MScRS or DPT degree, and you must be entering the MSc Rehabilitation Medicine (thesis-based) program, a PhD program or post-doctoral training program, to work with a member in our Department. The award is adjudicated based on academic achievement. A licensed physical therapist in Canada will be funded at the top level, a physical therapist without a license in Canada can also be supported, but at a reduced level.
