Michael Stone

Master of Science, Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)

"Speech-language pathology is the perfect blend of my interests in linguistics and psychology. Being able to help people every day was also very important to me!"

Michael received the "Biggest Cohort Advocate" award at his grad reception before placements began. As one of the co-presidents of OASIS, he advocated for his cohort and helped to make changes within the SLP program.

Advice for prospective students:
"Just go for it! It might seem scary at first, but it's worth it at the end of the day."

Michael is currently working as a registered speech-language pathologist with the Edmonton Catholic School District.
