Details about the 2022 executive council election

Thank you to everyone who nominated a candidate for the 2022 Postdoctoral Fellows Association (PDFA) executive council.

As outlined in the PDFA bylaws, because only one person was nominated for the following positions, these individuals will be acclaimed to the new PDFA executive:

• President: Qutuba Karwi
• Vice-President Internal: Sanaz Hatami
• Vice-President External: Jeffery Zielinski
• Vice-President Operations: Priyanka Mittapelly
• Vice-President Finance: Md Monirujjaman
• Member-at-Large: Jorge Palacios Moreno

We received two nominations for the position of Vice-President Communications:

• Lyndsey Hahn
• AKM Shahid Ullah

Secure online voting to elect the Vice-President Communications will open on Monday, September 26 at noon and close on Sunday, October 2 at 11:59 pm (MST). All eligible PDFA members will receive an electronic ballot via email from our online voting platform Election Runner when voting opens on September 26.
