U School Students Want to Do Philosophy!

This month, the Philosophy Department joined forces with the U School program to promote inclusivity and ignite a passion for higher education. U School's objective is to help students from vulnerable communities feel that they belong here. Kids from 8-15 get acquainted with different disciplines through fun, immersive, hands-on activities.

This year’s young philosophers explored themes of justice, fairness, and knowledge with the help of faculty members Luke Kersten and Hassan Masoud and graduate students Farid Saberi and Ayushi Khemka.  The response was enthusiastic!

We look forward to working with more future philosophers through the U School program next year.
