The Faculty of Nursing has a National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence (NHCGNE) membership for 2024, which provides a number of benefits including an online job board, program and event promotion, a Distinguished Educator in Gerontological Nursing designation, conference attendance opportunities, leadership development through MHCGNE committee opportunities, learning resources and awards.

University of Alberta International Week is an annual event orchestrated through University of Alberta International (UAI). This event provides an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to hear about innovative research, projects and communities contributing to a hopeful future. The event includes films, theatre presentations, dance lessons, art-making and other interactive exhibits all focused on improving the human condition.
