Annual Prizes and Awards Reception honours students with $1.4 million

Approximately 490 individual awards were bestowed at the 2020 Prizes & Awards Reception as students were recognized for outstanding achievements across all three years of study.

The event also celebrated the exceptional generosity of hundreds of donors to the Faculty who are responsible for making these student prizes and awards possible. They include law firms, legal associations, past professors, alumni classes and individual lawyers and friends of the Faculty. All helped the Faculty exceed its past total in prizes and awards this year, despite the global pandemic.

For the first time in its history, the event was held virtually via a livestream in order to comply with COVID-19 health and safety protocols. A recorded version is available for viewing via the Faculty’s YouTube page.
