At the Women's Law Forum (WLF) W/Rapping Party UAlberta, on December 4, 2013, Faculty of Law students, faculty and staff came together to help WLF wrap gifts for the Kindred House while listening to Rap and R&B Christmas covers!
The WLF reached out to Kindred House this holiday season by holding a donation drive, in the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, to fill hampers that will be given to the individuals that the program supports.
Kindred House is a safe house and support group for women and transgendered individuals involved in sex-trade. The Faculty of Law's donations will greatly support this outreach program by making the lives of needy individuals brighter and more comfortable.
Many thanks to all those involved in WLF who worked tirelessly to make this happen and to all those in the Faculty of Law who generously donated to such an amazing outreach program!
