Andrew Coyne, columnist with Postmedia News to speak on the subject of 'The Alarming State of Canada's Democracy' at the Faculty of Law's 2013 Merv Leitch Q.C. Memorial Lecture, on Monday, November 4, 2013.

Raised in Winnipeg, Mr. Coyne is a graduate of the University of Toronto and the London School of Economics. He has written previously for Maclean's magazine, The National Post, and The Globe and Mail, contributing as well to a number of other publications in Canada and abroad, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Time, and The Walrus. A frequent commentator on television and radio, he is seen regularly on CBC's The National.
