The Faculty of Law held its annual 1L Orientation yesterday for the students of the Class of 2014.

A keynote address was given by the Right Honourable Justice Myra Bielby and Douglas Mah, Q.C. spoke on behalf of the Law Society of Alberta.

The Faculty of Law's Judge in Residence, Andrea Moen from the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench also spoke with students. Additionally, two panels comprised of faculty members discussed different aspects of law with the incoming students.

Students broke apart into groups to tour the Law Centre and had the opportunity to learn from 2nd and 3rd year Law students.

To end the day, the Dean, Vice Dean and several professors cooked up a storm. Everyone enjoyed a performance of the Law Show Band and wonderful BBQ on a lovely fall day.
