Each nominee has been invited to submit a synopsis describing their teaching philosophy and teaching initiatives.

The Selection Committee invites written comments from students, faculty and other interested persons on the strengths and skills of the nominees. You may submit your written comments on the strengths and skills of the nominees using the comment boxes found in the Student Services office and in the Dean's Suite or by email. The deadline for receipt of comment is 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2011.
The Tevie H. Miller Teaching Excellence Award is awarded annually to recognize excellence in teaching by a full time member of the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta. The winner of the Tevie H. Miller Teaching Excellence Award will be invited to lead a seminar and discussion about teaching issues in the run-up to the next academic year.
The Sessional Teaching Excellence Award is awarded annually to recognize excellence in teaching by a sessional instructor who teaches at the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta.
