Dawn Friesen

Dawn Friesen is the former Assistant Deputy Minister for Public Health and Compliance at the Alberta Ministry of Health. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Victoria and a Master's degree in Nursing from the University of Alberta.

She has extensive clinical, research, education and administrative experience, and has served in various roles on several provincial and national level public health committees.

Dawn is recently retired and enjoys travel, reading, learning and being involved in her community.
