Help Save Stan

Help Save Stan is an event open to all health sciences students from four post secondary institutions in Edmonton: Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), NorQuest College, MacEwan University and the University of Alberta. Participants are organized into interprofessional health teams for a series of simulations and learning scenarios offered in a safe, but realistic environment. Students use their combined skills and interprofessional competencies to ensure proper care and safety for their patients. Simulation experts and facilitators run the scenarios and debrief teams following each simulation.

Help Save Stan was created by the Interdisciplinary Health Education Partnership (IHEP), a joint initiative of Alberta Health Services, MacEwan University, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), NorQuest College, and the University of Alberta.
