Annual Replenishment Timeline and Deadlines
The GFC Nominating Committee (NC) meets each spring to replenish faculty, staff, and student seats on the Committees of General Faculties Council (GFC), University-level Appeal Bodies, and other University-wide Committees to which GFC elects.
- At its April meeting, the NC makes recommendations to fill Student Vacancies.
- At its May meeting, the NC makes recommendations to fill Staff Vacancies.
- Recommendations to fill in-year vacancies are made as needed throughout the year.
Application Deadlines
Spring application deadlines are communicated to the broader university along with a call for applications.
TERMS OF OFFICE FOR STUDENTS & STAFF
- Student terms run May 1 to April 30, for a 1-year term.
- Staff terms run July 1 to June 30, for a 3-year term.
