You are an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in the healthcare field.
This is a specialized program that focuses on specific language needs that are critical for effective communication in healthcare settings. A key component of the course is to prepare students for communicating effectively across various healthcare disciplines. This involves working with professionals from different fields (e.g. medicine, nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, dieticians, occupational therapists, social workers, etc.) and requires understanding how language and communication vary depending on the audience.
Learn about Canadian culture and healthcare practices.
Gain confidence in the areas of speaking and listening, with a focus on specialized terminology and interactions common in healthcare settings.
Opportunity to take part in extra language activities through the Student Engagement Centre.

IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL 40 or Duolingo Test 80 or English Language School Placement Test
