The KeeTasKeeNow Tribal Education Authority (KTCEA) is a newly recognized (second of its kind in Canada) First Nations Education Authority comprised of five Treaty 8 nations. Loon River, Lubicon Lake, Woodland Cree, Peerless/Trout and Whitefish First Nation's are the member nations that make up the KeeTasKeeNow Tribal Council.
KTCEA is in dire need of teachers at the moment and we are reaching out to request assistance in filling current needs. Currently our greatest need is in the Whitefish School in Atikameg, Alberta. We are in need of staff to fill these positions;
- Gr 1/2 Split
- Gr 3
- High School - 2 Positions
- 1 SEP teacher
As our schools are in First Nations Communities, teachers with experience in First Nations Education are desired but not required. Please contact: jason.bigcharles@ktcea.ca for more information, or to apply.
