We would like to inform you of a matter of emergency: the University is trying to close our Department of East Asian Studies by merging it into the Modern Languages and Cultural Studies Department. As faculty of the Department of East Asian Studies, we would like to hold a Student Consultation Session to consult with you and discuss this important matter with you. We would like to hear what you have to say. Students should have a voice in a matter of such importance. The Consultation Session is at 5:00 pm on September 18, 2019 in PB-358. Please do attend the session if you can, because this possible merger may have significant impact on your study and degree at the University.
