Resident Teacher of the Year: Dr. Sandy Widder
This award honors a physician chosen by the DCCM senior residents for outstanding teaching and mentorship. The recipient is chosen based on a number of criteria - including a strong commitment to teaching, exceptional clinical skill, outstanding leadership and professionalism, as well as strong resident advocacy.
Junior Resident Teacher of the Year: Dr. Dennis Djogovic
This award honors a DCCM physician chosen by junior/rotating residents from a number of programs (such as Internal Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery) for excellence in teaching during core ICU rotations. In addition to exemplary teaching, this prestigious award represents outstanding achievement in mentorship, resident advocacy and professionalism.
