CUP professors making a difference in our community

Maria Mayan, Assistant Director and Jeff Bisanz Co-Chair CUP Steering Committee have both contributed to the Winter Edition of New Trail, the University of Alberta's Alumni Magazine. Maria and Jeff both comment on the role of U of A researchers in the community in Answers Wanted. Then Maria introduces the Grocery Run project which is a grass roots initiative to get food that would be thrown away by local restaurants, hotels, retail outlets and producers because the packaging is damaged or it's blemished, Is there a way to get unused foods to hungry families?
