Canvas Learning Opportunities

In partnership with the University of Alberta’s LMS of the Future project and the eClass Support Team, CTL is facilitating several Canvas Learning Opportunities in November and December. These workshops are designed to enhance your knowledge and skills with our new LMS.

Our Canvas Learning Opportunities are designed with your schedule in mind. Three different 3-hour workshops are offered in-person (Nov.), online (Dec.), and hybrid (Dec.). Additionally, we’re offering drop-in help each day with no registration required.

Bring your laptop (and power cord) and get ready to put your learning into practice. Throughout the workshop, you will actively build your Canvas course content, ensuring you leave with a tangible outcome.

By the end of this workshop series, you will be able to:

  • Navigate your Canvas sandbox and migrated course content
  • Identify Canvas features that support your evidence-based teaching strategies
