Dates and Deadlines
Deadlines
Completed application packages must be received prior to the following application deadlines:
Fall Semester (Sept - Dec): APRIL 1*
Winter Semester (Jan - April): SEPTEMBER 1*
*Although applications received after the above deadlines can often be considered for admission, please understand that later application will likely mean more limited course options available and a more difficult time trying to secure on-campus housing. The Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta cannot guarantee course selections or housing preference. To ensure students have a better chance of getting their choice of courses, EARLY APPLICATION IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. Processing of applications takes approximately 6-8 weeks.
IMPORTANT: Please DO NOT make any travel arrangements until you have received an official letter of admission from the University of Alberta and a student visa to enter Canada.
Term Dates
Please visit the University of Alberta Online Calendar to view the full official University of Alberta academic schedule. Dates are tentative until officially published.
