MBA Networking Brunches

MBA Networking Brunches are a casual networking event for current MBA students to connect with U of A alumni, allowing students the opportunity to have 1:1 networking time in an intimate but relaxed setting over a selection of light snacks and beverages. The intent of these sessions is to provide space for MBA specific questions and relationship development ahead of the larger event for the wider student body. 

Each brunch will start with a brief introduction of alumni and employer partner representatives, tailored to MBA students and their career journey, followed by open networking.

These events are limited to current Alberta School of Business students only. Please note these events are for career exploration and networking purposes only, not to solicit employment.

FALL TERM 2024

  • Sept 19: Finance & Accounting
  • Oct 24: Energy

WINTER TERM 2025

  • Jan 30: Consulting
  • March 6: Operations & Supply Chain

How do I RSVP to attend?
Log into CareerConnect, navigate to the the Events Calendar, and select the relevant MBA Networking Brunch. Please RSVP though the event form.
What is the dress code?
While there's no strict dress code, you will be representing the ASB and networking with professionals. You will want to dress accordingly.
How will attending a MBA Networking Brunch benefit me?

Attending will provide you with:

  • Time to create connections with industry professionals and fellow students.
  • A unique opportunity to ask about the industry and recruitment practices.
  • The chance to indulge in valuable conversations over complimentary snacks and beverages.
The topic doesn't seem relative to my stream, can I still attend?
Of course! You can attend any MBA Networking Brunch as it offers value that extends beyond academics.
Is there a cost to attend a MBA Networking Brunch?

Attending is completely FREE. Food and beverages are provided by the university.
