Plan your route to make the most of your time at the garden, and ensure you don't miss any highlights! During Luminaria, activities will be centered around the Leaf Plaza, Welcome Center and Kurimoto Japanese Garden.
Food Service during Luminaria
During Luminaria, beverages and light snacks are available for purchase.
Accessibility
Most areas of the Luminaria event are accessible by paved and cleared pathways. However, Luminaria is subject to winter weather conditions, which might include freezing rain, compacted snow etc. Guests should be aware there are some areas with grades where assistance is recommended for wheelchairs. Loaner wheelchairs are available in limited quantities.

If this is your first time visiting, we recommend reading through the information above to make the most of your time with us. We also recommend you bring the following:
- Your camera — there are many photo opportunities!
- Comfortable footwear will make your day a happier one.
- Dress for the weather — in Alberta, you never know!
- Protective items — bring sunscreen, insect repellant, and a sunhat (in winter, mitts, warm coats and hats!)
