The 2015-16 VP External officer for the Graduate Students Association is Alphonse Ndem Ahola.
Alphonse began his PhD in the Department of Anthropology in 2013. He currently serves on GSA Council as Councillor for the department of Anthropology and on the Arts Faculty Council. He is also a member of the University of Alberta's Global Education Program Advisory Committee. Alphonse has committed time to volunteer for a variety of student associations in Cameroon and in Norway, and also worked as a project manager in the Cameroon Ministry of Basic Education.
