Canada-China Trade: Q2 2024

Despite Canada and China each continuing to face their respective economic headwinds, trade between the two has, on the whole, remained stable in this first half of 2024. Nevertheless, new emerging trends related to a wide range of traded goods, such as energy products, have the potential to effect a major shift in the structure of the bilateral trading relationship moving forward.
