Exchange Programs
Students have the opportunity to participate in Augustana specific exchange programs in Norway or China. Students may choose to study abroad for a semester or for a full year.

China Tour
This course will serve as an introduction to China during a three-week immersion and through learning rudiments of its language and culture, as well as of its economic and political life.

Costa Rica Field Studies
This course focuses on studies of biodiversity and on conservation issues in the tropics. It is intended for students who want to experience field research in ecology and get a taste of tropical biodiversity.

Students will design and conduct a research project that examines an ecological phenomenon or a related topic using dendrochronology.

Model U.N.
The Model UN course catapults students into the world of diplomacy through careful study of the functioning of the UN, and participation in an authentic simulation of the UN General Assembly and UN Security Council at the United Nations in New York.

Environmental Science Field Studies
The Field Studies in Environmental Science and Ecology Course gives students the opportunity to engage in research projects that are relevant to ecology, parks, conservation biology, and natural resource management in the Cooking Lake Moraine in east-central Alberta.
