Dr. Robert Chan is a fellowship-trained upper extremity orthopaedic surgeon who has been in full-time practice since 2011 with clinical expertise and interest in elbow to hand.
As a proponent of evidence-based surgery, he has a strong background in education and research with an MSc. in medical education. Dr. Chan values and upholds good working relationships with all health care team members. His experience in different leadership positions serving as the current U of A orthopaedic residency program director and previously SCH orthopaedic site lead has helped him foster those values including a high standard of patient care.
