Learn-to-Train
Ages 9 to 11

  • Previous Lacrosse experience is recommended.
  • Participants may be grouped based on age and/or current skill level.
  • Participants are required to come with full Field Lacrosse equipment including their own stick along with suitable athletic clothing and footwear for the multi-sport sessions.
  • The camp will focus on Men's Lacrosse rules. The camp is Coed, All are welcome.
  • All participants will receive a camp jersey.

The goals of this camp are to develop technical and tactical Field Lacrosse skills. Half of the camp will be spent on the Lister Turf where participants will strengthen their inside shooting, faking, driving from x, roll dodge, shooting on run, and other stick skills. Core concepts of offensive and defensive play will be introduced through drills and games. The other half of the camp day will be dedicated to age-appropriate multi-sport activities designed to improve fundamental movement skills that support and complement the skills taught in the Field Lacrosse sessions. This camp is being hosted as a partnership with the Alberta Lacrosse Association.
